MY OWN ...SUMMER FESTIVAL @ TAGUS CLUB

Tal como noticiado aqui, docorreu à pouco tempo no Tagus uma festa dedicada ao SBSR.

Dado o êxito da mesma, fica aqui o desafio lançado para uma série de eventos SLianos promovidos pelo Tagus, lançado sobretudo a DJs Taguenses. Sob o tema “MY OWN …(Nome do Festival)@ Tagus Club” (ou noutros locais que queiram aderir a esta iniciativa).

A ideia será cada DJ interessado "recriar" um festival (em antecipação ou como review) dos muitos existentes por esse Portugal fora (e não só), com base essencialmente no alinhamento de artistas de cada um (live concerts ou não, alinhamento por artista ou mix a cargo de cada DJ).

E como existem todo o tipo de festivais a decorrer (ou já decorridos) em 2008, abaixo segue a lista (não exaustiva). O DJ que queira associar o seu nome a um festival, é só dar essa indicação para melhor agendamento da data. E começar a comprar os CDs dos respectivos artistas ;)... consagrados, novidades, alternativa, world music, há gostos para tudo. Até no SL :)

Nota: Datas não obrigatoriamente nos dias “oficiais” claro. Que é para aqueles que irem à RL tb poderem ter a 2ª dose no SL ;).

These are the photos of one more promising DJ that started his SL carreer at TAGUS. DJ CLAD, Cladestino Milena on SL, specialist in rockin' tunes :)...

The party was hosted by our new Tagus Nymph BlueAngell Lungu, the angel that came down the sky to be a part of TAGUS family :)... and her sister Elora, the best bartender on SL. She is THE (one and only) SL bartender, and now our Tagus Hot Bartender ;)

Olá amigos… vou aproveitar este meu devaneio e período de repouso SL (mas como podem ver, não da net).

Como vos tinha dito noutro local, o TAGUS RIVER CLUB, entrou numa fase de remodelação. E possivelmente de mudança para um outro local.

O terreno poderá ser ligeiramente ampliado. E mantendo o mesmo estilo, gostava de contar com a ajuda dos amigos no projecto/planeamento, construção e decoração.

Por isso… abro a “época de caça” a ideias, idiotas, projectistas, engenheiros, curiosos, construtores, demolidores, decoradores, fazedores de tudo e qualquer coisa que queiram ajudar no projecto. A ideia é reunir uma equipa de amigos que em conjunto queiram ajudar. É só dizerem que estão interessados, que depois das férias reunimos todos com ideias.

As minhas ideias?

Pois estamos a falar do TAGUS RIVER. A minha “menina dos olhos” que por ter sido o primeiro amor nunca quis alterar mto. Mas já que estamos em mudança, que mudemos para melhor. O tema continua a ser a ligação do divertimento com o rio (em oposição ao Sea Club…que já devem ter reparado estar numa “marina” junto ao mar). Ou seja, rios, lagos, ilhas, mochões, barcos, são aceites e bem vindos. Ligação com o rio Tejo (TAGUS) não é imprescendível, mas uma mais valia.

Prontos, esta é a parte em que dizem “que raio” tem isso tudo a ver com um clube discoteca?

Pois pode ter. Your world…your imagination. E a minha imaginação deu-me para isto. Agora quero ouvir as vossas opiniões!

First, want to thank to all my Tagus Friends. Since April 07 we've come a long way. Tagus group came from my own mind, but soon it became more, and involved many others. Many frienships were made on our land, on our parties, on other friends partys... We lost some friends to sl and rl, but we made others. And we will continue. Stronger.

Tagus staff will continue to do the primary work for you: invite new people for the group. It's lovely to see how many new friendships were made within the group, how we can always "be there" for each other... even if we are a grid appart... and how some of you responde to the call and announcements, and join us where we are (on concerts, on partys, on events or simply taking a group photo" ;))

Now that we are going straight to 1000 members (almost 800 nowadays), you can also help us to get there. How? Bringing your best friends to the group...and let then enjoy your pleasure too ;).

Today Tagus friends are a group of residents that like to chat, party, meet, explore new places... I've noticed that since TAGUS IM have been opened for chat, stronger relationships are beeing made. So, as long as you treat your friends with respect, you can use freely Group IM to chat. Announcements not included on the next paragraph are limited to the previous approvation of TAGUS owners. Non complying (after beeing alerted) will cause ban.

And even if you do not like to chat and dont want to be disturbed, you can just close the session IM. You will continue receive group announcements and important notices or freebies...without having to be disturbed on that session...you don't have to leave the group itself.

Afrodite does not have her next door goddess tag anymore. She decided to "let go" Tagus single ownership.

And no one better to be invited as her partner on Tagus group, as her best friend PedroFerreira Petrov. For all new TAGUS friends, a little "History".
Pedro is involved on Tagus group since the beggining (even before TAGUS CLUB opening in June).
He was one of the first Neptunos, and the only one that remains on SL since that time. He has invited many of you, and known many others friends that have passed through TAGUS since that day.
He have been promoted from Neptunos (group promoter) to Host (party host) and lately, to TAGUS manager. Today I invited him to be my partner on Tagus ownership.
I think he is the best to continue our dream. For all the hard work, time and love he offered to TAGUS, without asking nothing in return... It's the least I can do now. I hope you all understand that.
As for me, I will continue the same as always. Will probably have more time to new SL and RL projects.
Any question you have...just shoot ;) one of us will be here for you ;)...

Please welcome him on this new path. Other TAGUS changes might occur from now on... but we'll keep you informed ;)

Well... too late to go back.

One thougt one day, one act on the next day.

Now Tagus friends have a "corner" to meet off world too. Not on this blog, that will ne used mostly to promotion and events.
But if you go to Tagus Friends Weblog , you will find a place for all of us chat, chat, chat... or blog, blog, blog... a place where you can be an author and contribute. para este final de semana, e como podem ver no calendário, temos previsto fazer os seguintes "encontros de amigos":

QUINTA, 8NOV - 22H: FESTA DO METAL

Uma festa dedicada ao nosso amigo Fábio, com escolhas musicais totalmente a cargo dele. Imperdível a amantes e amigos do Heavy Metal ;).

SÁBADO, 10NOV - 17H: FESTA DA LIMPEZA DE INVENTÁRIO I

Um novo conceito de festas. Não danças. Sentas, ou colocas-te numa stand/pose.
No início vimos todos um filme dedicado à organização do inventário (tutorial em inglês) para dicas.
Aproveitas um tempinho sossegado para entre amigos, fazeres uma limpeza "geral" ao inventário, enquanto palras com amigos e até podem trocar itens entre vocês. É um evento que se prevê vir a realizar mais vezes, sempre no TAGUS RIVER CLUB.

Para ver o filme é imprescindível instalar o Quicktime (é free) e activar a respectiva opcão nas preferências. Para "palrar" à vontade com as mãos livres do teclado, aconselha-se que todos activem o voice ;)...

ps. Interdito a menores que 18 anos. É possível que ao experimentar lingerie e tattoos, seja necessário um ou dois segundos de "strip tease". Biombos arranjam-se, mas nada de olhares indiscretos por parte de menores e/ou "engraçadinhos". ;)

Histórias (antigas) e suposições? sobre o SL

Depois de deambular por alguns blogs amigos, surgiram-me estas notícias... já antigas (a primeira faz hoje um ano)... e que coincidiu com uma altura em que muitos entraram nesta "vida"... Eu incluída, apesar de não ter lido nos jornais, decerto foi através deles que indirectamente se deve o meu nascimento no SL... é bom recordar estas notícias antigas...e ver no que passado um ano o SL se tornou.
Só uma questão me atravessa... onde andavam os 4500 habitantes portugueses que já existiam quando me registei???? E onde andam actualmente? OK, alguns eu sei... mas e os outros?

This is a personal post and in this post I'm not speaking in behalf of the group members. But I am the owner of the blog, so I think I have the right to express myself as I want here :). So just let me say this.

We all know there are different venues on SL. And a lot of then, very good. I have two of them (sorry for the advertise part ;)). But I love getting around SL goin' to other places venues, if I like then and/or if a friend is playing.

I'm not at all surprised if my clubs are empty sometimes, if I dont schedule something there. Beeing staff at Tagus is not a full time job, it comes from the heart... when you want. SO I set up both of the places to make them confortable and lovin' all the time, even when nothing scheduled. Dont you know the pleasure of dancing alone with someone on a beautiful place with the music you choose?

All this just to you understand my point of view. I DO like go to others places. I LOVE when someone I know (SL or SLP friend) perform at a venue. I try to "keep up" on the events others friends schedule and organize (fashion, live music, art, etc..). I do not want or try to have a big party everyday. I prefer YOU to do a big party at my place everyday. Why? Cause I have a life...well, two to be exact... and I dont want to spend all my time at my clubs... :)

So why this post? I invite you to become one of my friends. Join Tagus group on SL, and let me know what are your scheduled events for the next weeks. If you have a google calendar, give me the link to be updated.

Besides TAGUS events, I started to place on the calendar bellow events from others places. All of them are events from SL or SLP friends, or events organized by a Tagus group member, or organized by a friend of a Tagus group member (Big network here ;)), according to the info they supplied on their own calendars.

I think we all have the right to choose where to go and what to see on SL. If you do NOT want do have you event or calendar added here, just let me know and I'll take it away. If you have an event to add, join Tagus group on SL, or if you are already a Tagus friend, give me the slurl, date and time and a short description. I'll try to add it. Give me your webpage/blog to add it to our friend pages too...

Ocasionally, I will send an in world notice for some of the events. Not too many... I hate group spam too...SO just keep on checking this page and the calendar to be updated :) ... http://tagusclub.blogspot.com

TAGUS SEA CLUB, the new club of TAGUS Group, located on AVAPARK island, is now Non-officially open ;). You can teleport and party there before the great opening, and all suggestions and tips are appreciated!

On TAGUS SEA CLUB, like on TAGUS RIVER CLUB, you can party at the dance, chat and drink at the bar, but you also have lots of funny things (and some great surprises) to do and see on our beautiful japanese garden ;)..always with the best of relaxing and chill music...

What was supposed to be one hour music requestd turned to last till 4 am lisbon time ;) (yes... almost 6 hours of music ;)!)..so don't be surprided if today I'm not that fresh as I wanted!

Tonight, besides my requests time, one more surprise : the Soundcheck of another of Tagus friend... Like our friend DJ Starbock once did, Nunos also wants to start his SL DJ steps here at Tagus!

AQUAPHOTO CONTEST: WATER WORLD

Participa no concurso de fotos "AQUAPHOTO CONTEST: WATER WORLD". Podes usar fotos originais tuas, tiradas in-world (SL) ou na RL.

O tema é a Água e a tua relação com ela e/ou o teu mundo. Podem ser oceanos/mares/rios/lagos/poças de água... desde que a foto tenha uma alusão à água.

Após uma pré-seleccção, as melhores votos vão ser expostas a votos para todo o SL, a partir de data a anunciar. As 3 melhores irão receber respectivamente:

- 1º lugar: 1000$L em dinheiro
- 2º lugar: 1 mês de estadia numa casa SL "em grande estilo";
- 3º lugar: 1 mês de estadia numa casa SL um pouco mais modesta.
(Edit note: As melhores fotos SL e RL irão ter uma prémio especial!)

Posteriormente as melhores vossas fotos irão fazer parte duma galeria permanente (venda de fotos revertem para o respectivo autor).

As fotos deverão ser enviadas em textura ou snapshot FULL PERMS para Afrodite Ewry ou Toze Barbosa via SL, com a seguinte identificação/NOME: "AVIEAUTORDAFOTO_TITULO DA FOTO" até 15 de Outubro. Cada imagem deverá ter como criador (em propriedades) o respectivo autor. Limitação: não estarem em sites públicos na internet.

Posteriormente será anunciada a data da votação e exposição.

Enter an SL photo contest, with the theme: WATER WORLD. You can use your photos, taken in-world (SL) or RL.

The "theme" is the relation water - your world. Can be pics of oceans, seas, rivers, lakes, a glass of water... as long as it has waters, its suitable.

After pre-selection, better pictures will be on a exposition for voting. Better 3 photos will receive:
-1st place: 1000$L
-2nd place: 1 month free rent on a Stylus house;
-3rd place: 1 month free rent on a regular house.

(Edit note: Best SL and RL pic will also have a separate prize!)

Afterwards your photos will be a part of a permanent gallery, and all sales revert to you.

Photos must be sent in texture or snapshot FULL PERMS, to Afrodite Ewry or Toze Barbosa on SL, with the following info on the name: "PHOTOAUTHORSLNAME_PHOTOTITLE", till 16 October. Each image must have your name as the original creator (proprieties section) and shouldn't been placed on public on the internet.
