DJ HH, a great TAGUS DJ, will be back tonight, at 22.30/2.30 SL, to play some of his great tunes...
You can come early if you wanna enjoy our lovely gardens, while you dance on the snow, vote on our contest photos, or just relax with your partner!

JUST WEAR A WARM OUTFIT...YOU WOULDN'T WANT TO GET A COLD ;)

Até lá podem disfrutar de todo o espaço e decor dos jardins do TAGUS SEA CLUB...Agora preparados para o frio que se avizinha! POdem dançar na neve, votar nas vossas fotos favoritas, or simplesmente relaxar ;)...

Olá amigos,

para este final de semana, e como podem ver no calendário, temos previsto fazer os seguintes "encontros de amigos":

QUINTA, 8NOV - 22H: FESTA DO METAL

Uma festa dedicada ao nosso amigo Fábio, com escolhas musicais totalmente a cargo dele. Imperdível a amantes e amigos do Heavy Metal ;).

SÁBADO, 10NOV - 17H: FESTA DA LIMPEZA DE INVENTÁRIO I

Um novo conceito de festas. Não danças. Sentas, ou colocas-te numa stand/pose.
No início vimos todos um filme dedicado à organização do inventário (tutorial em inglês) para dicas.
Aproveitas um tempinho sossegado para entre amigos, fazeres uma limpeza "geral" ao inventário, enquanto palras com amigos e até podem trocar itens entre vocês. É um evento que se prevê vir a realizar mais vezes, sempre no TAGUS RIVER CLUB.

Para ver o filme é imprescindível instalar o Quicktime (é free) e activar a respectiva opcão nas preferências. Para "palrar" à vontade com as mãos livres do teclado, aconselha-se que todos activem o voice ;)...

E vamos tornar uma das tarefas mais chatas do SL numa cena fixe.

ps. Interdito a menores que 18 anos. É possível que ao experimentar lingerie e tattoos, seja necessário um ou dois segundos de "strip tease". Biombos arranjam-se, mas nada de olhares indiscretos por parte de menores e/ou "engraçadinhos". ;)

AQUAPHOTO EXPOSITION: VOTING IS NOW OPEN AT TAGUS SEA CLUB

Hello friends,

use the teleport on the page and go to TAGUS SEA CLUB. All photos of the contest are there, just waiting for your vote. Afterwards, delight yourself and explore our beautiful garden. Enjoy the music, take a minute to relax. Use our swing or our yoga carpets for a full time relaxation. Both in SL and RL.
Next friday, about 2PM, first party starting!

Are you an artist? Are you an event planner/organizer? Are you a Tagus friend?

This is a personal post and in this post I'm not speaking in behalf of the group members. But I am the owner of the blog, so I think I have the right to express myself as I want here :). So just let me say this.

We all know there are different venues on SL. And a lot of then, very good. I have two of them (sorry for the advertise part ;)). But I love getting around SL goin' to other places venues, if I like then and/or if a friend is playing.

I'm not at all surprised if my clubs are empty sometimes, if I dont schedule something there. Beeing staff at Tagus is not a full time job, it comes from the heart... when you want. SO I set up both of the places to make them confortable and lovin' all the time, even when nothing scheduled. Dont you know the pleasure of dancing alone with someone on a beautiful place with the music you choose?

All this just to you understand my point of view. I DO like go to others places. I LOVE when someone I know (SL or SLP friend) perform at a venue. I try to "keep up" on the events others friends schedule and organize (fashion, live music, art, etc..). I do not want or try to have a big party everyday. I prefer YOU to do a big party at my place everyday. Why? Cause I have a life...well, two to be exact... and I dont want to spend all my time at my clubs... :)

So why this post? I invite you to become one of my friends. Join Tagus group on SL, and let me know what are your scheduled events for the next weeks. If you have a google calendar, give me the link to be updated.

Besides TAGUS events, I started to place on the calendar bellow events from others places. All of them are events from SL or SLP friends, or events organized by a Tagus group member, or organized by a friend of a Tagus group member (Big network here ;)), according to the info they supplied on their own calendars.

I think we all have the right to choose where to go and what to see on SL. If you do NOT want do have you event or calendar added here, just let me know and I'll take it away. If you have an event to add, join Tagus group on SL, or if you are already a Tagus friend, give me the slurl, date and time and a short description. I'll try to add it. Give me your webpage/blog to add it to our friend pages too...

Ocasionally, I will send an in world notice for some of the events. Not too many... I hate group spam too...SO just keep on checking this page and the calendar to be updated :) ... http://tagusclub.blogspot.com

Hope you dont mind this post. TAGUS is not an group created to promote TAGUS clubs. Is a (BIG) network of friends, with different tastes and choices... and I would love to meet you all in world... become one of Tagus friends and pay me a visit sometime too ;).

AQUAPHOTO CONTEST: WATER WORLD

AQUAPHOTO CONTEST: WATER WORLD

Participa no concurso de fotos "AQUAPHOTO CONTEST: WATER WORLD". Podes usar fotos originais tuas, tiradas in-world (SL) ou na RL.

O tema é a Água e a tua relação com ela e/ou o teu mundo. Podem ser oceanos/mares/rios/lagos/poças de água... desde que a foto tenha uma alusão à água.

Após uma pré-seleccção, as melhores votos vão ser expostas a votos para todo o SL, a partir de data a anunciar. As 3 melhores irão receber respectivamente:

- 1º lugar: 1000$L em dinheiro
- 2º lugar: 1 mês de estadia numa casa SL "em grande estilo";
- 3º lugar: 1 mês de estadia numa casa SL um pouco mais modesta.
(Edit note: As melhores fotos SL e RL irão ter uma prémio especial!)

Posteriormente as melhores vossas fotos irão fazer parte duma galeria permanente (venda de fotos revertem para o respectivo autor).

As fotos deverão ser enviadas em textura ou snapshot FULL PERMS para Afrodite Ewry ou Toze Barbosa via SL, com a seguinte identificação/NOME: "AVIEAUTORDAFOTO_TITULO DA FOTO" até 15 de Outubro. Cada imagem deverá ter como criador (em propriedades) o respectivo autor. Limitação: não estarem em sites públicos na internet.


Posteriormente será anunciada a data da votação e exposição.

AQUAPHOTO CONTEST: WATER WORLD

Enter an SL photo contest, with the theme: WATER WORLD. You can use your photos, taken in-world (SL) or RL.

The "theme" is the relation water - your world. Can be pics of oceans, seas, rivers, lakes, a glass of water... as long as it has waters, its suitable.

After pre-selection, better pictures will be on a exposition for voting. Better 3 photos will receive:
-1st place: 1000$L
-2nd place: 1 month free rent on a Stylus house;
-3rd place: 1 month free rent on a regular house.

(Edit note: Best SL and RL pic will also have a separate prize!)

Afterwards your photos will be a part of a permanent gallery, and all sales revert to you.

Photos must be sent in texture or snapshot FULL PERMS, to Afrodite Ewry or Toze Barbosa on SL, with the following info on the name: "PHOTOAUTHORSLNAME_PHOTOTITLE", till 16 October. Each image must have your name as the original creator (proprieties section) and shouldn't been placed on public on the internet.

Voting and exposition announced oportunnately.
